Before you start

You need a Compass company with at least one source connected, and a Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor account that supports MCP servers.

Steps

  1. In Compass, open Settings and choose MCP Server. Copy the Server URL shown there.
  2. In your AI, add Compass as an MCP server with that URL. Your AI sends you to Compass to sign in and approve access, and that sign-in is the whole handshake.
  3. Ask a question. The answer cites Compass memory, and the read appears in this company's Activity record.

For advisory firms

Each client company has its own token. Your AI connects once and sees every client you allow, one company at a time, on the record.
